We are proud to introduce our SDIAA members to Kimball Coastal Eatery, a National City Restaurant, where we met for a mixer in 2021 and will be returning on April 20, 2022.
Kimball Coastal Eatery came to National City after the very tough 2020 year that we all endured with a desire to bring a fresh new place to dine, drink, and dance in Southern San Diego. Driven by a passionate ownership group of local San Diegans with family, friendship, and community at the core of their set of values Kimball Coastal Eatery is determined to make a big impact in the area in a wide variety of ways.
Chef/Owner Jorge Bendesky is the driving force behind nearly every aspect of the restaurant. After graduating from The Culinary Institute of America, in New York he was highly trained within one of the most intense and successful restaurant groups in the county prior to opening Kimball Coastal Eatery with his brother Eitan Bendesky, his father Enrique Bendesky, and local entrepreneur/restaurateur Claye Cantwell. Jorge’s passion and gift for creating amazing and flavorful food and beverages along with his impressive background and training is one of the reasons why we feel confident that every one of our guests will be delighted by their experience.
We are open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch, happy hour specials, and dinner beginning at 7am daily. We also feature live music on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday on a large newly remodeled patio, as well as offer a spacious event room for gatherings up to 130 people. Company outings, birthday celebrations, reunions, family events, wedding parties, and team parties are just a few of the events that we have hosted on our patio or conference room in the short time that we have been open thus far.
We are proud to partner with the very fine Best Western Marina Gateway Hotel, who we share a parking lot with, making this a great location for travelers as well as locals to enjoy a staycation.
