Founded in 1945, the SDIAA stands as San Diego’s oldest and grandest professional adjuster organization, boasting a membership of over 1,200 industry professionals. Our core mission is to foster harmony, enhance business relations, and elevate ethical standards among members of the insurance claims profession and associated businesses. Through engaging social gatherings, insightful educational meetings, and generous charitable contributions, we aim to support and enrich the San Diego community while upholding the integrity of the insurance industry.

Chris Terrance - President

Chris has over 25 years experience as a multi-line adjuster and insurance management. Chris’ expertise includes handling claims in property, casualty, workers compensation and commercial claims. Chris is licensed in several states as a multi-lines claims adjuster. Chris has served in the past as the President and Treasurer of the SDIAA.

Marvin Straus - Legal/Legislative

Marvin J. Straus is a partner at Straus Myers LLP His areas of practice include Complex Fraud Litigation, Insurance Defense, Bad Faith Defense, Insurance Coverage, Qui Tam & Real Estate. Within his practice, he has been involved in all aspects of first & third party litigation. He is a frequent presenter to insurance companies & professional organizations on topics involving fraud, coverage, effective examinations under oath & bad faith issues.

Ramon verdugo - Vice President

Ramon Verdugo is the Claims Manager at Qualitas Insurance Company currently overseeing a bi-national and multi-state team of adjusters and assistants in Tijuana and San Diego since 2017. He has over 20 years of experience supervising and managing personal auto and commercial trucking claims. He holds a BS in Industrial Engineering with a specialty in Manufacturing Systems, as well as an Associate in Claims designation.

Bruce Rosenblatt - Membership

Bruce is a native San Diegan, attended Helix High and San Diego State University. With over 30 years experience in contents, Bruce is richly involved in the Southern California insurance industry. Bruce is married with 3 children and loves to visit the South Pacific as often as possible, play golf and restore cars.

Troy Outlaw - Events

Troy P. Outlaw is a Textile Restoration Specialist with 7 years of successful experience in evaluating and handling textile claims. He has 20 plus years of Sales experience including Pharmaceutical Sales and running different divisions of Large Companies located in the Fortune 500 forum. A strong believer in the power of positive thinking in the workplace, He has been a born leader with documented sales experience for over the last 20 years. Originally born in Upstate New York, he now resides in beautiful San Diego, California. In his spare times he loves playing and competing in local tennis tournaments and practicing street photography. His personal goal is that he strives to be the very best at whatever he takes on.

Carlos Sandoval - Digital Marketing

As a seasoned digital marketing expert specializing in the restoration industry, he brings a unique blend of tech-savvy and strategic insight to the San Diego Insurance Adjuster Association. With a proven track record in driving growth and enhancing online visibility for restoration businesses, his focus is on leveraging digital tools for maximum client engagement and revenue. Beyond his professional expertise, he is a family man, married and the proud father of a toddler. His professional and personal journey enriches his collaborative spirit, innovative mindset, and commitment to staying ahead of industry trends. He is excited to bring these professional skills and personal experiences to the SDIAA community.

Brandon Rosenblatt - IT

Brandon has worked in the Information Technology (IT) field for over 20 years. He has a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. He specializes in Information Systems Security and is always up to date on the latest trends in the industry. He enjoys working on computers, websites and traveling.

Brian Kellerer

I have been in the restoration and abatement industry for 11 years, with Alliance Environmental for 9 of those years. I have been managing the San Diego branch for Alliance for the past 7 years. Prior to Alliance Environmental I worked in property management overseeing the maintenance and operation of a 200 unit property in San Diego. I have a strong belief in building a positive work environment and creating a culture that people want to be a part of. Outside of work I love most sports and love the San Francisco 49ers, San Francisco Giants and and Golden State Warriors. In my free time I like to go out and pretend I know how to golf.
